打楽器オンリーのリズムパフォーマンスに始まり尺八とジャンベによるアドリブセッション、そして現在の尺八×DJパフォーマンスへと進化を遂げてきました。

皆様のおかげで歩んで来られたこの道のりを振り返り、自分たちの「これから」を深く深く考え…
メンバー２人で話し合い、一つの決断に至りました。

我々DEAD COUNT、
改名いたします！

これから日本だけでなく海外に向けてもより強く尺八×DJの世界観（日本の伝統音楽×現代のサウンド）を届けるため、新たな看板を背負って行きます。
新しいグループ名は六本木アートナイト出演の後、10/6(月)に発表いたします。

It's already been 17 years since DEAD COUNT was formed.
We started with percussion-only rhythm performances, then improvisation sessions with shakuhachi and djembe, and now our shakuhachi x DJ performances.

Looking back on the path we've walked thanks to all of you, we've given deep thought to our future...
After discussing it together as a group, we've come to a major decision.

We, DEAD COUNT,
will be changing our name.

From now on, we'll be carrying a new name to more strongly convey our shakuhachi x DJ worldview overseas.
The new group name will be announced on our various social media accounts in October.
Please look forward to it.
